ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking to issue a writ of Mandamus, to direct the 1st respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 24.08.2001 for retrospectively regularizing his service in the post of Office Assistant for the purpose of granting pension to him under the Tamil Nadu Pension Rules 1978 within a stipulated period of time.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that, pending writ petition, the District Collector, Mayiladuthurai, the fourth respondent herein has passed rejection order on 01.02.2022. Hence, he seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the writ petition with liberty to challenge the above said order. To that effect, he has also made endorsement.

2. Inview of the above submissions and the endorsement made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to challenge the rejection order. No costs.
