The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the petition. However, he would submit that a direction may be issued to the respondent Police to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.0146 of 2020.

2. The learned Public Prosecutor (Puducherry), appearing for the 1st respondent submitted that the investigation in Cr.No.0146/2020 has been completed and final report has been filed before the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Pondicherry, on 28.04.2021 itself.
