O R D E R

This civil revision petition has been filed seeking direction of this Court for speedy disposal of H.M.O.P.No.3 of 2016 pending on the file of the Subordinate Court, Tambaram.

The petitioner is husband and respondent is wife. The petitioner filed a petition in H.M.O.P.No.3 of 2015 for divorce on the ground of cruelty. The respondent/wife resisted the petition by filing her counter in the year 2016 itself. As there is no considerable progress in the above petition, the petitioner/husband is before this

Court with the present civil revision petition. Considering the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner herein and also the fact that the O.P. which is summary in nature, is pending from the year 2016, this Court is inclined to direct the Subordinate Court to dispose of the same at the earliest. Accordingly, the learned Subordinate Judge, Tambaram, is directed to dispose of the H.M.O.P.No.6 of 2016 in accordance with law within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above directions, the civil revision petition is dispossed of. No costs.
