Respondents Prayer : Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to regularise the services of the petitioner and to provide all the benefits like seniority and continuity of service with attendant benefits including pension benefits under Tamil Nadu Pension Rules for the long services rendered by the petitioner in the department of the respondents.

2. All these writ petitions have been filed to consider and pass orders on their representation dated 14.10.2008. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would contend that all these petitioners were engaged on daily wages and were working with lot of breaks and even as per their representation they are not provided with any continued service and therefore, they are not entitled for any benefits, as prayed for in the writ petitions.
