MAHADEVAN CRIMINAL MISCELLANEOUS PETITION No.2049 of 2020 IN CRL.RC.NO.1232 OF 2019 V.JEYANTHI [ PETITIONER / PETITIONER / PETITIONER ] Vs MOHANASUNDARAM [ RESPONDENT / RESPONDENT / RESPONDENT ] Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to extend a week time for complying the order dated 11.12.2019 in Crl.M.P.No.18288 of 2019 in Crl.R.C.No.1232 of 2019 in making deposit in C.C.No.2508 of 2012 before the Learned Metropolitan Magistrate Fast Track Court-1, Egmore, pending disposal of the above Crl.RC.No.1232/2019.
Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S. A.BALASINGH RAMANUJAM, Advocate for the petitioner the court made the following order:- This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is filed by the petitioner seeking to extend the time to deposit Rs.75,000/- before the Trial Court within four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of the order dated 11.12.2019 passed in Crl.M.P.No.18288 of 2019 in Crl.R.C.No.1232 of 2019.
2. Heard the learned counsel for both sides.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the said order copy was received by the petitioner only belatedly and hence the petitioner could not comply with the said order and seeks some time to comply with the said order.
4. Acceding to the said request, time is granted till 05.03.2020 to deposit such amount. It is made clear that, excepting the time extension, the other conditions imposed in the earlier order dated 11.12.2019 shall remain unaltered.
