ORDER

This petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.444 of 2015 registered on 31.10.2015 on the file of the first respondent, for the offences under Sections 406, 420 r/w. 120(B) of IPC, as against the petitioner.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that while pending this petition, the respondent police completed the investigation and filed final report and the same has been taken cognizance in C.C.No.2854 of 2022 on the file of the XI Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Egmore, Chennai, and the same is pending. He further submitted that challenging the entire proceeding before the trial Court, the petitioner filed another petition in Crl.O.P.No.13858 of 2023 and the same is pending before this Court.

Considering the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the prayer sought for in this petition cannot be considered and the petition itself devoid of merits and liable to be dismissed.
