ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who is arrayed as A3, apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence under Sections 120B, 409 and 420 IPC r/w Sec.4(1) and 6(1) of Chit Fund Act, r/w Sec.5 of T.N.P.I.D. Act, in Crime No. 2 of 2017 on the file of the respondent police and seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with two others were running a Chit Company by name Thayagam Chit Fund Company, in which the petitioner became a subscriber. The petitioner is the Manager of the Chit Company. After the maturity time, they failed to return the amount of Rs.6 lakhs to the defacto complainant. Hence, this complaint.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent and he joined in this Company as Manager in the month of January 2016. He has been falsely implicated in this case. Further, he would submit that the co-accused was released on bail in Crl.M.P.No.217 of 2017 dated 09.03.2017. 4.Learned Government Advocate(crl.side) would submit that the investigation is still pending.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and taking note of the fact that the co-accused was released on bail in Crl.M.P.No.217 of 2017, dated 09.03.2017, this Court is inclined to

grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on his appearance before the TNPID Act Court, Chennai, within a period of 15 days, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, on his executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten thousand only) with two sureties, each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, concerned, or to the satisfaction of the respondent police or the police officer who intends to arrest and on further condition that, the petitioner shall deposit a sum of Rs.50,000/-(Rupees fifty thousand only) to the credit of Crime No.2 of 2017 within a period of two weeks and on further condition that, the petitioner shall report before the respondent police daily at 10.00 a.m for a period of two weeks and thereafter as and when required for interrogation.
