Tamil Nadu Acquisition of Land for Harijan Welfare Scheme Act, 1978 for the existing Adi Dravida and Tribal Housing Colony comprised in Survey No.1/1, 1/1A, 1/1C of Kothapetta Village, Krishnagiri Taluk, Dharmapuri District, so far the petitioner is concerned presently Krishnagiri District.

The petitioner has filed this petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to initiate proper acquisition proceedings under State Act viz. Tamil Nadu Acquisition of Land for Harijan Welfare Scheme Act, 1978, for the existing Adi Dravida and Tribal Housing Colony comprised in Survey No.1/1, 1/1A, 1/1C of Kothapetta Village, Krishnagiri Taluk, Dharmapuri District, so far the petitioner is concerned presently Krishnagiri District.

2.After filing of the writ petition, the respondents have filed counter stating that the acquisition proceedings were initiated and lands were acquired and the same were allotted to the beneficiaries.

3.In view of the above, nothing survives for adjudication in the writ petition. The writ petition is accordingly closed. No costs.
