Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the entire records relating to the impugned order passed by the first respondent viz. The District Collector, Villupuram District, by this impugned order in Reference No.Cha.Mu.Na.Ka.Pa.E4/9142/2008 dated 22.09.2009 and quash the same and consequently pass an order of direction directing the first respondent to issue an order of Noon Meal Scheme Cook Helper in any one of the vacant place at Mugaiyur Panchayat Union Schools in Villupuram District.

The writ petition has been filed challenging the impugned order bearing Reference No.Cha.Mu.Na.Ka.Pa.E4/9142/2008 dated 22.09.2009 passed by the first respondent viz. the District Collector, Villupuram District and seeking a direction to the first respondent to issue an order of Noon Meal Scheme Cook Helper in any one of the vacant places at Mugaiyur Panchayat Union Schools in Villupuram District.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, there is no representation for the petitioner. Though the writ petition is of the year 2009 and the same is pending for quite ten long years, the petitioner has not chosen to appear to argue the matter today, which shows that the petitioner is not interested in prosecuting the case. Accordingly, the writ petition is liable to be dismissed and the same is dismissed for non prosecution. No costs.
