The petitioner filed this petition to quash the proceedings in in C.C.No.2 of 2012 on the file of the learned Special Judge under the Tamilnadu Protection of Interest of Depositors (in Financial Establishment) Act, 1997, Coimbatore, thereby taken cognizance for the offences under Section 420 of IPC & Section 5 of the Tamilnadu Protection of Interest of Depositors (in financial establishment) Act-1997, as against him.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the present petition. 4.

Recording the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed as withdrawn. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed, if any.
