O R D E R

The prayer sought for herein is for a writ of mandamus directing the 2nd and 3rd respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.03.2022 to include her name and issue joint patta.

In respect of land at Survey No.49(Part) situated at Karamakkam Village in Amattur Taluk, Tiruvallur District, it is the claim of the petitioner that, it is the joint property of the petitioner and the 4th respondent, patta also jointly was issued in the name of the petitioner and subsequently part of the land was acquired for highways purpose and compensation also had been given jointly. Subsequently computer patta was issued, when the name of the petitioner has been left out and only the name of the 4th respondent was shown in the computer patta and in order to rectify the same, the petitioner has given a representation on 09.03.2022 and in order to consider the said representation, the petitioner has moved the present writ petition.

3. Heard Mr.M.Balaji, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3. In view of the order going to be passed in this 2/5

writ petition, notice to the 4th respondent is hereby dispensed with.

The learned Additional Government Pleader for the official respondents would submit that, the said application submitted by the petitioner would be considered after conducting enquiry with the petitioner as well as the 4th respondent and accordingly necessary orders to that effect would be passed within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

5. Considering the said submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the parties especially the stand taken by the learned Additional Government Pleader for the official respondents, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following orders: There shall be a direction to the 3rd respondent to consider the application of the petitioner with regard to the grant of computer patta for the land in question after conducting enquiry with the petitioner as well as the 4th respondent and such application shall be disposed of on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3/5
