Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records on the file of the second respondent in connection with the order passed by him in Ref:P&IR/DO-1 dated 12.08.2004 and quash the same and direct the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for appointment to the post of Assistant, Class III Post in Life Insurance Corporation of India, South Zone in the light of the order passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in Civil Appeal No.1790/89 dated 07.02.1996 and the similar treatment given to the candidates who have fallen under the period from 01.01.1982 to 20.05.1985 with effect from the date of the order of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India with all monetary and service benefits.
