There is no representation for the petitioner.

2. Ms.C.Sangamithirai, learned Special Government Pleader for the first and second respondents and Mr.S.Gunasekaran, learned counsel for the third respondent are present.

3. The letter namely Na.Ka.No.5361/2009/m3 (tsh;r;rp) dated 09.12.2009 issued by the Collector of Tiruvarur is under challenge.

4. The petitioner was appointed as Cholera Mazdoor in the office of the Panchayat Union, Koradacherry on 01.03.1992 and worked as Cholera Mazdoor till 31.12.1997. Thereafter, he filed a Writ Petition No.14302 of 2009 to direct the first respondent namely the Director of Rural Page No.2/5

Development to consider his request. Based on his representation, on 09.12.2009 the impugned order was passed. Hence this writ petition.

5. The petitioner, at the age of 48/2011 has filed this writ petition.

6. The present age of the petitioner is about 61 years. Hence, nothing survives in the writ petition. Therefore, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Connected miscellaneous petition stands closed.
