.. Respondent Prayer:- This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Sections 482 Cr.P.C., to direct the respondent to register the case on the basis of the complaint filed by the petitioner on 31.10.2013 and investigate the same in accordance to law.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner, who is a Member of Chennai Airport Pre-paid Taxi OwnersDrivers Sangam stating that on 31.10.2013, he has given a complaint before the respondent, but they have not registered a case. Hence, he has come forward with this petition for directing the respondent to register a case on the basis of the complaint filed by him on 31.10.2013 and investigate the matter.

2.This Court by order dated 05.12.2014 directed the respondent to conduct preliminary enquiry on the allegation made by the petitioner and submit a report on or before 31.01.2015. Thereafter, the respondent has filed a petition in M.P.No.1 of 2015 for extension of time for completing the enquiry and file a report. This Court, by order dated 05.02.2015 granted time to file the final report till 31.03.2015.

3.When the matter was posted for hearing on 31.03.2015, the respondent has filed a closure report dated 30.03.2015 stating that he has examined 40 witnesses and submits that no criminal offence is made out. At this juncture, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner prays for time. Hence, the matter was adjourned today (01.04.2015).

4.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. The closure report has also been served to the petitioner on 30.03.2015 and the learned Special Public Prosecutor for CBI Cases has also filed a memo to that effect.

5.Recording the closure report and also the memo filed by the learned Special Public Prosecutor for CBI Cases acknowledging the service of closure report on the petitioner, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
