The Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the First Information Report No.RC0322023A0004.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the first respondent has filed a counter before this Court.

3. Learned Special Public Prosecutor for CBI submitted that the investigation in this case has been completed and the final report has also been filed on 27.02.2024 before the Chief Judicial Magistrate Court, Coimbatore through e-filing No.CC-LTN20240000358C202400001.

4. At this juncture, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this Criminal Original Petition with a liberty to challenge the final report and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.

5. In view of the above submissions and the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed as withdrawn. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed. However, the petitioners are at liberty to challenge the final report filed in this case.
