ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondent to update the online entry of the revenue records in the official website of the Department of Survey and Settlement of Lands, Tamil Nadu and issue separate "Natham Patta" for the land morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition based on the petitioner's representation dated 10.01.2026 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. The petitioner has filed supporting documents along with his representation dated 10.01.2026, seeking for issuance of patta in his name and for updation of the online entry of the revenue records. Since the said representation has not been considered by the respondent, till date, this writ petition has been filed.

3. Mr. D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of the respondent.

4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondent if the petitioner's representation as stated supra is considered on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation.

6. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation dated 10.01.2026, seeking for updation of the online entry of the revenue records in the official website of the Department of Survey and Settlement of Lands, Tamil Nadu and for issuance of a separate "Natham Patta"

in the name of the petitioner for the land morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
