PRAYER: Civil Revision Petition has been filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, to direct the learned Additional District Judge, Chengalpattu, to expedite the proceedings in I.A.No.2 of 2021 in O.S.No.434 of 2021 and pass final orders, within the time stipulated by this Court.

This Civil Revision Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the learned Additional District Judge, Chengalpattu, to expedite the proceedings in I.A.No.2 of 2021 in O.S.No.434 of 2021.

The revision petitioners are the plaintiffs in the suit. They filed the suit in O.S.No.434 of 2021 for partition. Pending suit, they also filed an application in I.A.No.2 of 2021 for interim injunction, restraining the defendants from alienating the suit property. 3.

The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the said application is pending for several months without disposal and there are risks of encumbering the suit property during the pendency of the suit.

As per the report of the learned trial Judge, it is seen that the respondents had entered appearance on https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

28.03.2022. But for filing counter, 3 months adjournment has been given. Considering the urgency of the application, it will be appreciable if the learned trial Judge give short adjournments and dispose of the application at the earliest. 5.

Hence, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of and the learned Additional District Judge, Chengalpattu, is directed to dispose of the application in I.A.No.2 of 2021 in O.S.No.434 of 2021 as expeditiously as possible. However, there is no order as to costs.
