11.06.2010 based upon the Amended Byelaw of the Subordinate Service to the Corporation of Chennai 2009 passed by Resolution 45 of 2010 and quash the same and consequently direct the 2nd Respondent to place the note dated 07.04.2010 bearing G.D.C.No.E5/33599/2009 before the Appointment Committee of the Corporation of Chennai and thereon effect promotion of the petitioners from the Post of Assistant to the post of License Inspector being the promotional post in accordance with the byelaw of the Subordinate Service to the Corporation of Chennai 1981 and pass orders.

ORDER
This writ petition is filed to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records pertaining to transferring the petitioners from the post of Assistant to License Inspector vide impugned proceedings bearing G.D.C.No.E5/ 33599/2009 dated 11.06.2010 based upon the Amended Byelaw of the Subordinate Service to the Corporation of Chennai 2009 passed by Resolution 45 of 2010 and quash the same and consequently direct the 2nd Respondent to place the note dated 07.04.2010 bearing G.D.c.No.E5/33599/2009 before the Appointment Committee of the Corporation of Chennai and thereon effect promotion of the petitioners from the Post of Assistant to the post of License Inspector being the promotional post in accordance with the byelaw of the Subordinate Service to the Corporation of Chennai 1981 and pass orders.
2. When the matter is listed today, the learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that after the filing of the writ petition the petitioner has been promoted to various posts and also filed a memo which is extracted hereunder: " It is humbly submitted that the above writ petition pertaining to transferring of the petitioners from the post of assistant to licence inspector, by the impugned order dated 11.06.2010 based upon the amended by law of the subordinate service to the Corporation of Chennai 2009 passed by the Resolution 45 of 2010 has become infructuous as representative petitioners after the
filing of the writ petition has been promoted to various post respectively.
It is humbly submitted that the writ petition may kindly be dismissed as the relief as become infructuous on account of the subsequent events.
3. Based on the memo filed by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners this petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. The memo filed by the petitioners form part of this order. No costs. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
