ORDER

This writ petition was filed in the year 2012 seeking for issuance of a mandamus to the respondents to return to the petitioner the cash of Rs.20,000/- and cheque bearing No.020192 drawn on Yes Bank, Nungambakkam Branch, Chennai as evidenced by their receipts bearing No.2129609 and 2129610 dated 12.7.2012 forthwith.

2. When the matter was taken up on 30.9.2019, none appeared for the petitioner. Therefore, the Registry was directed to list the matter under the caption "for dismissal". Even today, when the matter was called, there is no representation for the petitioner, except the respective learned counsel for the respondents. Hence, the writ petition is dismissed for non prosecution.
