ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by V.SIVAGNANAM, J.] Seeking a direction to the respondents to produce the petitioner's daughter Indumathi, aged about 21 years, before this Court and to set her at liberty, the present habeas corpus petition has been filed.

2.Today, Mr.C.Venu, Special Sub Inspector of Police, Vrichachalam Police Station, Cuddalore District is present. 3.On instructions, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the complaint given by the petitioner, a case https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

in Vridhachalam Police Station Crime No.58 of 2021 was registered for woman missing on 18.01.2021 and the police secured Indumathi, daughter of the petitioner along with one Iyappan, with whom she is said to have got married. During enquiry, Indumathi stated that she had gone on her own volition with Iyappan. Since Indumathi is aged about 21 years and not a minor, the police recorded the statement and the petitioner withdrew the complaint.

4.Recording the same, this habeas corpus petition stands closed.
