Respondent Civil Revision Petition filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, to dispose the suit in O.S.No.134 of 2015 on the file of the IV Assistant City Civil Court, Chennai, within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER
This Civil Revision Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the IV Assistant City Civil Court, Chennai, to dispose O.S.No.134 of 2015, within a stipulated period of time.
2. The petitioner is the plaintiff and respondent is the defendant in O.S.No.134 of 2015. The petitioner filed the suit for permanent injunction restraining the respondent from interfering, trespassing, demolishing and disturbing the petitioner's peaceful possession and enjoyment of the suit property. The respondent filed written statement on 09.12.2016. Issues were framed and trial commenced. The petitioner has filed proof affidavit on 02.01.2017. He was examined in chief. Till today, learned counsel for the respondent did not cross examine the petitioner and the suit is pending without any progress. In the circumstance, the petitioner has come out with the present civil revision petition for early disposal of O.S.No.134 of 2015.
3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.
4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, considering the limited prayer sought for in the civil revision petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the matter, I direct the learned IV Assistant Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai, to dispose O.S.No.134 of 2015 on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, in any event, not later than six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. The Civil Revision Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
