ORDER
This writ petition has been filed to direct the Respondents to handover the physical possession of the allotted house site vide patta bearing Vi.Ma. Pa.No. 414 / 2021 - 22 dated 01.07.2022 issued by the Respondent No.5.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, on 13.07.2022, the 5th respondent had issued patta dated 01.07.2022 allotting free house site to an extent of 0.02 cents situated at Survey No.307/1A of Vellakovil Village under Adi Dravidar Welfare Scheme. However, no physical possession was provided to the petitioner till date. Hence, the petitioner had sent a letter dated 22.12.2022 and filed a petition dated 26.12.2022 seeking for physical possession of the allotted house site. Finally, on 03.01.2023, a representation was also made by the petitioner. However, no steps were taken by the respondent till date. Hence, this petition.
3. In reply, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent would submit that the petitioner's representation dated 03.01.2023 will be disposed of by the respondent within a period of 4 weeks.
4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents and also perused the entire materials available on record.
5. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the 5th respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 03.01.2023 and dispose of the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
