..Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of writ of mandamus directing the respondents to appoint the petitioners herein as Health Inspectors, Grade-II in the Tamil Nadu Police Health Subordinate Service in the existing and future vacancies, in the light of the directions of the Tribunal in its order dated 26.02.1997 in O.A.No.6900/95 and taking into account their successful completion of training in 1990-91 conducted by the 2nd respondent by relaxing the rules relating to upper age limit. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioners to direct the respondents to appoint the petitioners herein as Health Inspectors, Grade-II in the Tamil Nadu Police Health Subordinate Service in the existing and future vacancies, in the light of the directions of the Tribunal in its order dated 26.02.1997 in O.A.No.6900/95 and taking into account their successful completion of training in 1990-91 conducted by the 2nd respondent by relaxing the rules relating to upper age limit.

2. The prayer sought for in this writ petition is not feasible for consideration, since the petitioners seek for appointment based on the training underwent by them between 1988 to 1992. After the lapse of more than 25 years and also taking into consideration that the age of all the petitioners as on date, it would not be appropriate to direct the respondents to appoint them as Health Inspector -Grade-II.

3. In view of the above, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
