ORDER

This petition has been filed to transfer the complaint in STC. No.501 of 2021 from the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Ooty, The Nilgiris to any other Judicial Magistrate Court other than the Nilgiris District.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioner is the complainant in STC No.501 of 2021 for the offence punishable under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act as against the respondent.

4. The only ground raised by the petitioner for transfer of the case is that the Judicial Officer had passed an impartial order against the petitioner, that too without any substance. Therefore, this Court finds no grounds to transfer the case in STC No. 501 of 2021 from the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Ooty, The Nilgiris, to any other Judicial Magistrate

Court other than the Nilgiris District.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. The trial Court is directed to dispose of the case in STC No. 501 of 2021 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
