ORDER

The petitioner / Accused-2, who apprehends arrest in the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 5 and 7(3) Lotteries Act, 1998, Section 296(b), 132, 351(2), 318(4)of BNS Act, 2023, in connection with the case in Crime No. 682 of 2024, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent Police submitted that since the petitioner is not an accused in the abovesaid crime, the present petition is unfounded.

3. Recording the said fact, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
