O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the first respondent to consider and pass orders on the Revision Petition of the petitioner dated 31.03.2018, after giving an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner.
2. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up and disposed of at the time of admission itself.
3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Special Government Pleader who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3.
3. The case of the petitioner is that though the petitioner is the Senior most person in the Respondent Society, he was not given promotion for the post of Secretary and instead one T.Palani, who was the junior to the petitioner was promoted to the said post. Hence, the petitioner has filed the Revision Petition, before the first respondent. As the same was not considered till date, the petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition seeking for the aforesaid relief.
4. The learned counsel for the respondents submitted that respondents have no objection in disposing of the Revision Petition of the petitioner, but it must be in a proper format.
4. Considering the limited scope of relief sought for by the petitioner and also considering the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on either side, this Court is of the view that this Writ Petition can be disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to file the Revision Petition in a proper format and the first respondent may be directed to dispose of the same.
5. Accordingly, the petitioner is directed to file the Revision Petition, within a period of three days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order in proper format and on receipt of the same, the first respondent is directed to dispose of the same within a period of one month thereafter. However, it is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of such representation.
6. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
