Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to direct the third respondent to give police protection to the contractors, their workmen and other persons looking after the construction work of the Shri Muthian Temple, Korathagudi, Ariyalur Taluk and District by considering the representation dated 12.02.2016.

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to the third respondent police to provide police protection to the petitioner's contractors, their workmen and other persons 2.

The petitioner seeks police protection to their contractors, workmen and other persons. Now, almost three years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted now. However, the petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh complaint on fresh cause of action, if so advised.

With the above observations, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
