ORDER

(The Case has been heard through Video Conference) On earlier occasion, this Court issued a direction to deposit the balance amount of compensation and the same was not deposited by the respondent. Hence, the petitioner filed a Contempt Petition before this Court in Contempt Petition No.1697 of 2019 in which the respondent reported the compliance. Recording the same, the Contempt Petition was closed. 2.However, on 14.02.2020, the respondents 2 and 3 have appeared before this Court and sought time to deposit the balance enhanced compensation amount payable to the petitioner as per the order of this Court dated 03.06.2019 in W.P.No.13943 of 2019. Recording the said submission, the Contempt Petition was closed and this Court issued a direction to pass orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Since that order was not complied which prompted the petitioner to file the present Sub-Application No.67 of 2021 for re-opening the Contempt Petition.

3.After notice, the respondent issued proceedings dated 15.04.2021 wherein, the enhanced compensation of Rs.62,75,400/- was sanctioned and after deducting Rs.7,06,826/- as Income Tax, the balance amount of Rs.55,68,594/- was deposited in the Sub-Court and with belated payment of Rs.12,128/- and Rs.23,530/- and the same is deposited in the LA.O.P.Court. 4.Recording the same, this Sub-Application is closed and the Contempt Petition was already closed.
