(made by M.DURAISWAMY, J.) When the contempt petition was taken up for hearing, Mr. K.M. Ramesh, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. A. Palaniappan, learned counsel for the third respondent submitted that the third respondent had already complied with the orders of this court, and hence contempt petition may be closed.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the third respondent further submitted that this Bench while disposing of the Review Application in Rev.Appln. No. 194 of 2021 on 02.12.2021, made it clear that the relief granted in the Writ Petition in W.P.No.1679 of 2013 shall apply only to the appellants.

3. Learned counsel, further submitted that the very same observation may be recorded in the contempt petition also and this court may also observe that the compliance of the order shall not be cited as a precedent in other matters.

4. Recording the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, since the official respondent has complied with the orders of this court, the contempt petition stands closed.

5. We make it clear that the compliance of the order passed in the writ appeal by the third respondent shall not be cited as a precedent in similar matters.
