ORDER
The prayer sought for herein is to issue a writ of mandamus directing the third respondent to send interview letter to the petitioner for the post of cook vacancies arises under the first and second respondents.
2.Though the aforesaid writ of mandamus was sought for in this writ petition, when the case is taken up for hearing, Mr.P.Vijendran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that, for long years there has been no instructions from the petitioner to pursue the matter further. Moreover, at the time of filing the writ petition, the petitioner was 40 years old, by this time he must be around 50 years. Therefore, he has crossed even the upper age limit prescribed for the post, by which, the issue raised in this writ petition has become https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
infructuous. Hence, he submits that nothing virtually could be survived in this writ petition for any more. In view of the above, the learned counsel seeks indulgence of this Court. 3.The said position has been endorsed by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents also. 4.In view of the aforestated submission, this Writ Petition is dismissed as no further issue survives in this writ petition for further adjudication. No costs.
