The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the entire gratuity amount had been paid and the prayer sought for in these petitions has become infructuous.

Accordingly, all the writ petitions are dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
