O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH,J.) This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to produce the detenue, the petitioner's minor daughter R.Ishwariya, aged 16 years, now under the illegal custody of the respondents 3 and 4 herein before this Court and hand over her to the petitioner. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. It is the case of the petitioner that his daughter R.Ishwariya, aged about 16 years studying in XII standard, went missing on 27.11.2015 in connection with which a case in Guduvanchery Police Station Cr.No.1099 of 2015 for "girl missing" was registered and since the police are not taking effective steps to secure the detenue, the present Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed.

3. Though the matter is not listed today, it is taken up for hearing at the instance of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, as the police have secured the detenue.

4. The detenue is produced before this Court. The parents of the detenue are also present before us. Upon enquiry, the detenue stated that, her parents were making arrangements to give her in marriage to a person against her wish and so, she had gone to her relatives house. She also stated that she is willing to go with her parents.

Recording the same, the custody of the minor girl is handed over to the petitioner/father of the detenue. Accordingly, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
