S.Raja Respondents Prayer:- This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Certiorari to call for the records on the file of the first respondent in connection with the order of transfer passed by the first respondent in G.O.(Rt) No.431, Commercial Taxes and Registration (H) Department, dated 21.12.2020 and quash the same. C O M M O N O R D E R This contempt petition has been filed alleging non-compliance of the order and direction issued by this Court in WMP.No.24887 of 2020 in WP.No.20154 of 2020, dated 23.12.2020.

2. The Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Certiorari to call for the records on the file of the first respondent in connection with the order of transfer passed by the first respondent in G.O.(Rt) No.431, Commercial Taxes and Registration (H) Department, dated 21.12.2020 and quash the same.

3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the official respondents have considered the request of the petitioner by transferring him from North Chennai to Permabalur and he also joined duty on 09.05.2022. A joining report, dated 10.5.2022 has also been filed to that effect.

4. The above submission of the learned Government Advocate has not been refuted by the learned counsel for the petitioner. However, it is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has not been allowed to rejoin the posting during the period of stay granted by this Court. Hence, he sought liberty to regularise that period with all consequential benefits.

5. Recording the above submissions of the learned counsel appearing for both sides, this Contempt Petition is closed. Consequently, connected Writ Petition and the Miscellaneous petition are also closed. However, liberty is given to the petitioner to approach the concerned authority regarding regularisation. No costs.
