ORDER

The petition has been filed seeking to call for the records pertaining to the Sessions Case in S.C.No.144 of 2021, on the file of the learned District and Sessions Judge, Tiruvannamalai District and quash the same.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the matter has been compromised between the parties. However, since the offences alleged against the petitioner are under Section 341, 294(b), 392 of IPC and Section 3(1) of Tamil Nadu Public Property (Prevention of Damage and Loss) Act, 1992, which cannot be compounded, he would seek that a direction may be issued to the learned District and Sessions Judge, Tiruvannamalai to expedite and complete the trial in S.C.No.144 of 2021 as expeditiously as possible.

3. In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. Further, direction is issued to the learned District and Sessions Judge, Tiruvannamalai, to complete the trial in S.C.No.144 of 2021, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
