Today, when the matter came up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner passed away, pending the Writ Petition. She has written a communication to the legal heirs of the petitioner (since deceased). However, the communication has returned as ''Unclaimed'' and the legal heirs are not coming forward to file any substitution application to prosecute the Writ Petition further.

2. In that view of the matter, the Writ Petition is closed as having abated upon the death of the petitioner. No costs.
