ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent to register a First Information Report based on the petitioner's complaint dated 28.10.2014.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor (pondy) appearing for the first respondent.

3. It is seen that the petitioner has given a complaint dated 28.10.2014 to the Inspector General of Police, Pondicherry. It is the case of the petitioner that when he lodged a complaint before the local police station, he was advised to send the complaint to the Inspector General of Police since the amount involved is above Rs.10,00,000/- and hence, the petitioner lodged a complaint before the Inspector General of Police, Pondicherry. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Under such circumstances, this Court directs the Inspector General of Police, Pondicherry to forward the complaint dated 28.10.2014 to the jurisdictional police within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the criminal original petition is closed.
