The petitioners, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence punishable under Sections 4(1)©, 4(1)(A) of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition (Amendment) Act, 2024 in Crime No.170 of 2025 on the file of the respondent police seeks anticipatory bail. 1/4

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioners were found in possession of 6 Nos of liquor bottles of 90 ml Jeffrey Brandy transported from Pondicherry and recovered Rs.200/-. Hence, this case.

3. This Court has earlier dismissed the petitioner's anticipatory bail by stating the following reasons:

Considering the gravity of the offences and the bad antecedents, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. Now, without any change in circumstances, present petition has been filed. However, without any change in circumstances, present petition has been filed. Hence, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
