This Criminal Original petition has been filed to quash the entire proceedings of C.C.No.4966 of 2015 pending on the file of the Metropolitan Magistrate, Fast Track Court-I, Egmore, Chennai 600 008.

2. The above Case has been taken on file by the concerned Magistrate, based on the complaint under Section 200 of Cr.P.C. given by the respondent herein, against these petitioners for the offence under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act. According to the respondent, during the business transactions, the petitioners herein have issued cheques in favour of the respondent towards the services rendered by them and the same were returned for the reason " Payment stopped by the Drawer" and hence, the complaint was lodged. Pending case, the present petition has been filed to quash the proceedings of the above case.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, submitted that the dispute between the petitioners and the respondent has been settled and hence, the petitioners are not pressing this petition.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, this criminal original petition is dismissed as not pressed. Connected criminal miscellaneous petition is closed.
