4. Considering the nature of order to be passed herein, notice to the first respondent is dispensed with.
2.
The petitioner is a retired Head Master of the Panchayat Union Primary School, Sathyagoundanur. His grievance is that, though he retired from service wayback on 30-06-2000, he is yet to receive dues of arrears and emoluments. Though he has made a representation in this regard to the respondents on 27-03-2018, the same has not evoked any response. Hence, he has filed this Writ Petition challenging such inaction on the part of the respondents in considering such representation and seeks a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider such representation.
3.
The learned Government Advocate for the respondents 2 to 4 submits that the respondents 2 to 4 shall have no objection to consider such representation, if the same is pending within the time frame, as directed by this Court.
4.
Considering the aforesaid facts and the submissions made, especially, the submission of the learned Government Advocate for the respondents 2 to 4, no useful purpose is going to be served by keeping the Writ Petition pending seeking a counter/reply affidavit from the respondents and as such, the same is disposed of at the stage of admission with a direction to the third respondent to take an informed and considered decision on the representation of the petitioner, dated 27.03.2018, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of this order, in accordance with law, if there is no other legal impediments. However, it is made clear that, this Court has expressed no opinion on the merits of such representation in any manner. In the circumstances, there shall be no order as to costs.
