ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of mandamus 1/4
directing the respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 06.05.2024 wherein the petitioner was seeking for correction to the extent of property that has been mentioned in the patta issued in favour of the petitioner. 2.Heard Mr.M.Rajasekhar, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, Mr.P.Sathish, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.
3.The petitioner is claiming title over the property by virtue of the sale deed dated 09.09.2002. Patta was also issued in favour of the petitioner in patta No.2044. However, while issuing the patta, the extent has been mentioned as 00.138 sq.mt and whereas, petitioner wants the extent to be mentioned as 00157 sq.mt. The application submitted by the petitioner was not acted upon and hence the present writ petition has been filed before this Court. 4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of this case and considering the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, there shall be a direction to the respondent to deal with the application submitted by the 2/4
petitioner on 06.05.2024 and take a decision within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If any survey is required before taking a final decision, the same shall also be done in order to ascertain the actual extent of the property in line with the title deed. 5.The writ petition is disposed of with the above directions.
