PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to call for the entire records pertaining to the FIR registered in AWPS Ayanavaram Crime NO.5/2016 pending on the file of the 1st respondent Police, quash the same.

The petitioners have filed this petition seeking to call for the entire records pertaining to the FIR registered in AWPS Ayanavaram Crime No.5/2016, pending on the file of the 1st respondent Police, quash the same.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the 1st petitioner has died and hence nothing survives for further adjudication against the 1st petitioner and further the learned counsel submitted that without going into the merits of the case, it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the law enforcing agency to expedite the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

investigation against other petitioners and complete the same as early as possible.

3. Since the 1st petitioner has died, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as abated insofar as the 1st petitioner is concerned and in respect of other petitioners, this Court directs the 1st respondent Police, to expedite the investigation in C.r.No.5 of 2016 against the petitioners 2 to 4 and complete the same, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. In the light of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of insofar as petitioners 2 to 4 are concerned. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
