C.V.KARTHIKEYAN, J.

The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 4(1)(aaa), 4(1-A) of Tamilnadu Prohibition Act in Crime No.949 of 2023 registered on the file of the respondent police seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other accused were found in possession of 172 litres and 800 ml of liquor worth about Rs.63,424/- from the State of Karnataka.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that for the Co-accused this Court has granted bail in Crl.O.P.No.28314 of 2023 vide order dated 02.01.2024.

4. The learned Government Advocate(Crl side) submitted that there are two previous cases pending against the petitioner. 1/3

5. In view of that fact even though this Court has granted bail to the co-accused, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to this petitioner Hence, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. 07.02.2024 smn 2/3
