ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the Order passed by the third respondent in Na.Ka.No.133/2022 dated 15.09.2022, quash the same and consequently direct the respondents 1 to 3 to conduct proper election for the post of Head, Forest Team, Pungalapettai Forest team.

2. It is the contention of the petitioner that he is the resident of the the same village and no election has been conducted for the post of Head, Forest Team, Pungalapettai Forest Team. On the other hand, Mrs.R.Anitha, learned Special Government Pleader, on instructions, submitted that the election has been conducted in the subject village on 10.09.2022. The fourth respondent alone has filed the nomination; none has filed the nomination for the election and the entire village selected the fourth respondent as the President.

3. Such view of the matter, as the election has already been completed, directions cannot be given as a matter of right. Hence, this writ petition stands dismissed. No costs.
