Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records made in the impugned order dated 05.11.2003 made in Na.Ka.No.45/A1/92 passed by the 2nd respondent, quash the same and further direct the respondents to regularize the pension of the petitioner on the scale of pay of Rs.1640 from 1.9.88 thereby calculate the pensionary benefits of the petitioner with adequate interest.

Read this in conjunction with and in continuation of earlier proceedings made in previous listing on 03.08.2021, which reads as follows:
'Mr.M.V.Venkataseshan, learned counsel for writ petitioner and Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned State counsel for two respondents are before this Virtual Court.

2. Learned counsel for writ petitioner submits that the writ petitioner is not responding to his communications and telephone number also is not operational. Learned counsel requests for some time to write to writ petitioner and report no instructions, if the same situation continues.

2. Today, Mr.V.V.Sathya, learned counsel on record for writ petitioner adverting to earlier proceedings made in the previous listing on 03.08.2021, submits that the writ petitioner has not responded and he reports 'No instructions'.
3. The sequitur of the narrative thus far is, the writ petitioner is not interested in pursuing the captioned writ petition any more.
4. Therefore, captioned writ petition is dismissed for default/non-prosecution. Consequently, M.P.Nos.1 and 2 of 2008 are also dismissed for default/non-prosecution. There shall be no order as to costs.
