Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking to issue a writ of mandamus directing respondent No.9 herein which is the Regulatory Body regarding the medical profession and medical education in India to constitute an expert committee to go into the problems in the matter of admissions to Post Graduate Degree/Diploma and Super specialties courses in medical education in Tamil Nadu in order to avoid irregularities and lapses and malpractice to devise and evolve a transparent and fault-free procedure to make such admissions in future.

Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking to issue a writ of mandamus directing the first respondent herein to refer the matter of severe irregularities and serious lapses committed in respect of the admissions to Post Graduate Diploma/Degree/MDS and five year M.Ch. (Neuro Surgery) courses for the year 2004-2005 to the respondent No.8 for an independent investigation as to the persons responsible and as to the offences committed in the matter and prosecute the culprits for offences, if any, found during the investigation.
