Mr.R.U.Dinesh Rajkumar, learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice for the respondents. With the consent of both the parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner has made a representation to the respondents on 10.01.2024 seeking to issue Patta in favour of the petitioner for the property situated at Plot No.17, comprised in S.No.6, Old Patta No.142 as per Patta Sub-Division S.No.6/3B of Kasapapuram Village, Tambaram Taluk, Kancheepuram District. Since there was no response from the respondents till date, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Heard both sides.

4. Therefore, without expressing any view on the merits of the matter, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to Pg.Nos.2/4

consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.01.2024, after giving due opportunity of hearing to writ petitioner as well as rival claimants / interested parties, if any and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, if the same is not disposed of so far. There shall be no order as to costs.
