PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records on the file of the second respondent in Proc.No.F1-12/VCP/01/02/Estt/839 dated 20.02.2004 and to quash the same as illegal and further to direct the respondent 1 and 2 to promote the petitioner as the Office Manager Gr.II, from his present post of Senior Assistant in Villianur Town Panchayat.

The order under challenge in the present writ petition is the promotional order of the third respondent herein.

2. Today, when the matter was called, the learned Government Advocate submitted that the petitioner herein had retired from his services on 28.02.2010 and has also received the revised pension, without any prejudice. The third respondent herein had https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

also attained his age of superannuation on 31.07.2017. As such, no effective orders can be passed in the present writ petition.
