Prayer:

Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying this Court to issue Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate Writ or direction to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to provide employment to the members of the petitioner's association in compliance with Section 306 of the District Municipalities Act.

O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed by Tamil Nadu Licensed Plumbers Federation Association to provide employment to the members of its Association as per Section 306 of the District Municipalities Act.

2. It is seen from the Petition that there is no specific grievance addressed to, but it is a general grievance of the members of the petitioner throughout the state. This is a well settled law that the person aggrieved shall approach the Court for his/her service grievance and it cannot be omnibus.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader submits that this Writ Petition is of the year 2004 and for the work carried out by the Department at that point of time, the grievance does not survive any further and the matter has become infructuous.

4. Considering the prayer as well as the submissions of the Additional Government Pleader, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
