ORDER

This writ petition has been filed, seeking to correct the patta standing in the name of the petitioner for the property morefully described in the prayer to

this writ petition within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. According to the petitioner, the patta, which is now standing in the name of the petitioner is not in accordance with the extent mentioned in the FMB Sketch for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition. In such circumstances, the petitioner seeks for correction of the patta extension as mentioned in the FMB sketch. The petitioner had given representations on 14.10.2025 and 16.10.2025 to the respondents, requesting them to correct the extents of patta issued in favour of the petitioner in accordance with the FMB Sketch. Since the said representation has not been considered till date, this writ petition has been filed.

3. Mr. C. Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioner's representation as stated supra is considered on merits and in accordance with law after hearing the objections of the neighbouring landlords as well as any other third party whom the third respondent deems it fit to enquire within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representations dated 14.10.2025 and 16.10.2025.

6. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the third respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representations dated 14.10.2025 and 16.10.2025, seeking for correction of the extent mentioned in his patta for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition based on the present FMB sketch within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after hearing the objections of the neighbouring landlords as well as any other third party whom the third respondent deems it fit to enquire.
