ORDER

The prayer in the writ petition is to issue writ of Certiorari calling for the records relating to the order passed by the first respondent in Na.Ka.No.95/2007/A3 dated 09.07.2010 and quash the same.

2. The writ petitioner was serving as a village president of Koppanur Pudur, Kappalankarai, during the year 2007 the first respondent issued a show cause notice under Section 205 of the Tamil Nadu Panchayats Act to the petitioner since there were https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

many allegations against the petitioner. The first respondent without affording any opportunity and without considering the views of the Panchayat, by order dated 31.03.2008, removed the petitioner from the post of President and hence the petitioner was constrained to file this writ petition.

3. Though the petitioner was elected in the year 2006, that period has been expired on 2011 itself and due to elapse of period of nearly ten years, I do not find any merits in this writ petition.
